Fun with Wipes

Baby wipes are not just for wiping up babies, you know.  They are a great tool to have on hand in your craft room too.

A package of baby wipes and a few re-inkers and you've got a rainbow coloured stamp pad and you can create a beautiful card, like this:

See the cool coloring of those leaves (from the Colorful Seasons stamp set)? That was done by dripping a few drops of reinker (Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Garden Green) onto a baby wipe. The colors bleed together and then, when you ink up your stamp in the wipe, you get a little rainbow of color.  Isn't it pretty?

We will be trying new and fun techniques each month at my Stamp Club meeting and even though we are full until February, you can join us in March and try some new techniques too!  Simply send me a quick email and I can give you all the details!

Fun and Stamping

Class #2 in my Holiday Stamp-A-Stack series was yesterday and we had alot of fun!

The four cards we made, may be my favourite 4 cards of the year!  Here they are, let me know what you think.

Half Full - my new favourite holiday stamp set.  Hic!

Sorry Stampin' Up!. There is nothing spooky about Spooky Cat.

It may not be possible for me to hold a Holiday card class without using the
Star of Light stamp set.

New set called Season Like Christmas. Stampin' Up! does trees right!
Everyone made THREE of each of these cards!  A great start to their holiday cards for the year.  I know that 12 cards is alot but remember, I do almost all of the cutting and embossing....I even tied all the little bows for the Christmas tree card.  My goal is for you to come and have a relaxing, enjoyable time doing a little stamping, alot of laughing and a making plan to come back again soon.

If you'd like to join in on the fun next month, Holiday Stamp-A-Stack class #3 will be on Sunday October 15th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please send me a note if you can make it - kathyireland@ymail.com

Many thanks to all of the incredible, creative people on Pinterest, who have made these cards possible. :-)

A Season of Style

The busiest (and best) time of the year is quickly moving towards us and....phew...I get anxious just thinking about it.

I know that there are alot of you who would really like to spend more time crafting and adding a little "homemade" to your holidays but with all the other commitments of the season, it's now always easy.

If you haven't been able to find some time to attend a card class in a while, Paper Pumpkin is the perfect solution.

For the first time, Stampin' Up! is offering two months (October and November) coordinated, holiday-themed kits.  Historically, the holiday Paper Pumpkin kits are the most popular but they have never offered two months of coordinated kits before. This is super exciting!

Check out Carrie's video to hear all the details. Still have questions or want to order your kits?  Just drop me and email
